It’s almost 2019. As the new year approaches, I wanted to take the time to update all the Outdoors & On the Go dedicated readers with what 2019 has in store and thank you for a great 2018!
Thank you for reading!

How Can We Make Outdoors & On The Go Better for the New Year?
I really want you to enjoy this blog and feel connected to the Outdoors and On the Go Community. Please consider sharing your ideas or feedback by clicking the button below ~ thank you!
As you may have already noticed, the blog has a new look. What do you think?
We wanted something clean, fresh and easy to use but honestly, this happened because of a tech issue (the faded images) and then I was down a deep rabbit hole! It was embraced despite the images not being fully resolved – please bare with me 🙂
Since we were going with a whole redesign, why not redo the logo too?
Where’s the new place?
6500 kms from Corner Brook, NL is Ymir, BC – our winter home.
Only 25 min from Whitewater Resort, we are shredding the famous pow of the Kootenays daily and working once it’s dark. The area feels so good – maybe it’s the mountain air or just the overall change but its so refreshing! I guess you don’t know you need change until it happens.

What’s on for the new year?
2019 is all about the ‘K.I.S.S’ principle – Keep It Simple, Stupid.
Less quantity, more quality.
This team is not setting any crazy goals, or planning the entire year out in detail. We have a few missions already in the works like ‘Who Knit Ya’ and our new store (oh, what was that?!) plus we have to get back on the go with weekly posts and gear reviews.
I can tell you now, we are all planning to take our AST level 1 and start exploring the Kootenay backcountry. We want to ski, climb, mountain bike and explore BC’s outdoor playground – sharing the best of it with you! And I think that’s enough for now.
What are you’re Outdoor goals for 2019?
