Like many other women in this world, I find shopping for swimsuits stressful. But now I’ve found Title Nine swimwear.
Why Title Nine Swimwear?
What first drew me in was the slogan on their swimwear page: “More R&D. Less T&A”. Finally, someone who gets it! Though I am proud of my body and don’t mind showing it off, I also want to be able to jump into a lake without losing my bikini bottoms. I want to be able to confidently take off a life jacket after river rafting or kayaking and know that my bikini top is exactly where I left it. I want to be able to come out of the water without picking a wedgie or adjusting my top for the hundredth time. I just want to know that my swimwear is on my side and has me covered.
So Many Options
I’ve found that a lot of the more technical swimwear options out there are great for activities, but are not very cute. Title Nine is different. So many colours and styles, geared to all different kinds of people. I decided on the Paddle Board Shorts in mint green, and a cute two-piece by Carve Designs. I also ordered the Set It And Forget It bikini top, in black, to give me some options and variety.
Title 9 Paddleboard Shorts
Title 9 Paddleboard shorts are great! They are stretchy, protect you from the sun, and provide full coverage of your booty. The wide waistband is comfortable and keeps them firmly in place. They come in a variety of colours allow you to pair them with all your favourite tops.
Sizing Made Simple
I love that you can order a top and bottom in different sizes! A personal pet peeve is when retailers don’t let you mix and match. I have a bigger bum, so often need bottoms a size or two larger than the top. Title Nine accommodated this and made things even easier by providing comprehensive sizing charts (a must for any online order). True to size, the striped bikini and paddle shorts from Carve Designs fit perfectly. The Set It And Forget It top was unfortunately too small and has been returned. That top is Title Nine brand, and I will keep in mind to size up with their gear in the future.
Cute, but Still Practical
The crisscross back of the striped swimsuit is cute, comfortable, and so practical. I love that it can be adjusted in size. Also, the extra loops ensure that even if the tie comes undone, I won’t lose my shirt! The bottoms actually cover everything and stay in place so I don’t have to adjust them every time I get in or out of the water. And the paddle shorts have a comfortable built-in liner, smart Velcro pocket, and are not see-through when wet (unlike so many others). I am so excited to take these shorts kayaking and hiking around Ontario this summer.
Final Thoughts on Title Nine Swimwear
Though shipped from California to Ontario, the shipping was quite fast. Their returns are also pretty straight forward.
I love my new gear. It’s practical, comfortable, and cute. I would definitely recommend ordering Title Nine swimwear, and will probably order from them again myself in the future.
