The Lifeproof warranty = outstanding! Quick & Painless in all aspects. I needed a new case because I have worn out the edges (3 years of use does that). I requested a return, no proof required. It shipped the next day. I had issues with the tracking and their customer service was on it!
Slimmer than other brands. Fits nicely into hip belt pockets on packs and jacket pockets.
Touchscreen works perfect under the plastic (unless its very wet).

You need to use an adaptor with your headphones…just takes some getting used too. And don’t loose this part!
Camera images aren’t as clear because the lenses are covered with clear stuff…but it’s waterproof! And you can always take off the case, snap a pic, and put it back on.
Sometimes the little toggle (ring/vibrate) gets stuck and requires you to remove the case and reset its position, then put the case on.
I have used the FRĒ case non stop for 3 years. It gives me piece of mind that my EXPENSIVE minicomputer is safe, no matter what. I can leave it in my rain jacket pocket, while its raining. It can survive a fall while I’m mountain biking. It can spend the night lost in the snow (recommend not white..) and still work without needing to rice it for 2 days.
Personally, I would rather buy ONE awesome phone, put it and an awesome case and save my money for adventures. I DO NOT want to be replacing a cell phone (at $200-1200 per phone) each year because I didn’t take care of it. Save your money for adventures and save your phone to capture it all!
