This scenic walk takes you through coastal bogs and limestone ridges to the launch site for boat tours on Western Brook Pond. One of the best walks in Gros Morne National Park for all ages and abilities. While still listed as a trail, it is more of a gravel road with very little elevation change.

A lovely shoreline trail with sweeping views of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, ideal for spotting seabirds, whales, and enjoying salty air. Starts at Green Point Campground and Baker’s Brook parking lot.

Trout River Boardwalk & Community Trails

<3 km | Easy | < 1 hour
Enjoy a relaxing stroll along the beachfront boardwalk in the fishing village of Trout River. Great views due west and options for beach combing and hiking around the cove on either end. Follow the edge of Trout River Pond between the Tablelands and Trout River Pond. A longer hike with some elevation, but well worth the effort.

Best for: Serenity, as this trail is one of the less busy routes despite its wonderful views. You can also swim in Trout River Pond.

Start at the barren Tablelands and descend through forest to a lush coastal meadow with sea stacks and cliffs. One of the best hikes in Gros Morne for variety and coastal beauty.

This steady uphill climb leads to an incredible panoramic view of Bonne Bay, the Tablelands, and surrounding hills. Short but steep!

Best for: Views of Bonne Bay without having to climb 1000m, only 340m.

Baker’s Brook Falls Trail

A forested trail with boardwalks through classic Newfoundland bog, leading to a series of beautiful cascading waterfalls. Very little elevation gain and one of the few trails you can ride on a mountain bike.
